Stuck with Slow Internet?

Please fill this out to find out if you are in a targeted area by the WV Broadband Council for grants to get wired for high speed Internet access. In addition, we will start a process to advocate for your area getting attention by the Broadband Council and the installation companies that will do the work. Was appointed by Sen. Rucker as a rural 2nd District representative for the Council but was never replied. Never been a person appointed to that position.

Also, the nearest is past railroad tracks from 340 and the Lloyd Road side is “blocked” by a stream.

    Non target on map.

Lives in an untargeted area for broadband. Currently has Frontier DSL and got a letter saying that there would be a cap.

New development in Berkeley County on Swift River Way,

No dots on broadband map. Want no caps and high speed on new home. Let Broadband Council know to update map.

Building a home in a new neighborhood (Scrabble), and I will need broadband internet to continue to be able to work from home, as well as for entertainment!

We are in the process of building a home in a new development and many of us need to be able to work from home. High speed internet is crucial and currently lacking in our neighborhood. Thanks so much for your advocacy.

I live in a community in Harpers Ferry called Riverside. We have no internet options other than cellular or satellite. We have lived in our home for over 10 years with pathetic service that we must research and acquire ourselves. Some members of the community receive services from Frontier but some of us are too far from the closest switch which is located on the other side of the river.

We were told that when the Rock Creek Ferry neighborhood began building homes, that internet would become available. It has been years and still no internet.

I wrote to Manchin’s office when he was doing a survey some time ago. I never received a response from them either.

Schooling during the pandemic was a mess. Internet is no longer a luxury but a necessity.
